Service Pharmaceutical Company (SPC) is an indigenously owned company founded in 1977 by Mr. Francis Ohwojeheri, and started-off as a wholesale outlet for drugs and allied products. The company is known national-wide for its unwavering commitment to quality and service.
The Company started few months before incorporation in 1977 as a distributor to many pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria. After many years, we branched out to engage in the importation of pharmaceutical products from companies overseas.
In the year 2004, we branched out to manufacturing. We established a plant at 21 Ewere street benin city. We later built a modern factory at Obe community which was opened in the year 2020.
SPC went into manufacturing in 1995 after registering with NAFDAC. Over the years, the company had to expand due to more demand of its products in the market but due to limited space within the premises of the factory, reconstruction and modernization of the factory was made to meet up its unending expansion and to enhance cGMP.
In 2008, Service Pharmaceutical Company ventured into tablet production but due to inadequate space for production and packaging, the company encountered difficulties in getting the products registered by NAFDAC. Hence, tablet production was suspended for the new site.
The company in resolving the limited space challenges, decided to build a new facility (under construction) which will accommodate liquid line, external line and solid pharmaceutical forms (tablets).
In accordance with manufacturing activities approved by NAFDAC, SPC is involved in the manufacture of pharmaceutical dosage form (which are: Oral liquids – syrups and suspensions) and External Preparations.
